How claims are tracked
FactTracker prioritizes claims that are attributable, time-bound or event-based, and specific enough to verify against public evidence.
Status labels
- Pending: the claim can be checked later but has not resolved yet.
- True: public evidence shows the claim was fulfilled.
- False: public evidence shows the claim was not fulfilled.
- Unresolvable: the claim cannot be checked reliably with available evidence.
